CULTURAL LIFE IN MAZATLAN

Celebrated at the beginning of Spring with the intention of giving continuity to the artistic calendar of the Municipal Institute for Culture, Tourism, and Art of Mazatlan, The Spring Season hires artists of great social recognition and prestige, who dignify the celebration of culture which precedes the Mazatlán Cultural Festival activities and the programming of Carnival with their performances.

"During the spring you will be able to enjoy the "Spring Season Festival", in addition to this, "The José Limón International Dance Festival", with world-class dancers and creatives, also "The Local Theater Week", and of course, a space for literature with "The Book Fair" organized by the UAS University."

JOSÉ LIMÓN FESTIVAL APRIL 24th - 28th, 2023 This festival is 37 years old, it was born to give tribute to the recognized Mexican artist José Limón. This festival was founded by Héctor Chávez and has the participation of outstanding creators and world-class artists of contemporary dance year after year. So, if you visit Mazatlán on these dates, you must live this cultural experience.

LOCAL TEATHER WEEK APRIL 25th - 30th, 2023 The talent of the different Mazatlan theater companies will arrive at the event, to be held from April 25th to 30th, a week dedicated to the performing arts convened by the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlán.
